New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 pm Eastern
Los Angeles Lakers at Sacramento Kings, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Teaser Brooklyn -1.5 w/Sacramento +10 -110, bet $11 to win $10
Brooklyn should be able to handle New York at home. The Knicks have been sluggish offensively, and four of their main players - R.J. Barrett, Derrick Rose, Nerlens Noel, and Taj Gibson - are injured to some degree. Rose and Gibson are listed as out, Barrett and Noel are questionable. The Nets had their four-game winning streak snapped by Phoenix on Saturday, but the Knicks aren’t Phoenix. Brooklyn leads the Eastern Conference right now, led by a scorching Kevin Durant. I like him to handle business on national television tonight. So I’ll tease them with Sacramento, a home dog who’s definitely in a bit of chaos right now but who are 9-12 against the spread; teasing them up to +10 is a safe move. The Kings are returning to Sacramento after a short road trip and played the Lakers to triple-overtime on Friday. Getting double-digits should be enough.
Player Prop Parlay: Stephen Curry 20+ points w/3+ made threes w/4+ assists w/Devin Booker 15+ points w/2+ made threes w/Chris Paul 15+ points w/6+ assists w/Draymond Green under 7.5 rebounds +627, bet $5 to win $31.39
In the words of Michael Keaton’s Batman, “You wanna get nuts?! Let’s get nuts!” Although honestly, I don’t think this is that crazy. I don’t have a real feel for who’ll win tonight’s Golden State/Phoenix game (I lean Golden State +2, but not enough to make a play) but I do think it’ll be a great game with a lot of scoring. I think the main risk is Green’s rebounds; 7.5 is slightly under his season average. I believe the three All-Stars Curry, Booker, and Paul will have nice nights, and if Green performs just under his average, it’s a big score.
