Thursday NBA Playoffs Props: Fats picks Jae Crowder, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Reggie Jackson

Suns at CLIPPERS, 8:35 pm EDT.

Fats Baller

1-2 last night, but was right about the Hawks.

Thursday Playoff Picks

One game, 4 plays. Another hard game to pick with Chris Paul returning. The Suns are clearly a better team with Paul, but is a Paul who's been out for 10 days better than a Cameron Payne who's been lighting it up? My book isn't even giving Cam Payne numbers for tonight, like he's not going to play. And they have Paul with a 30.5 PRA, like he's going to step in and play 35 minutes. Hmmm. . .

All wagers and returns based on $10. Please check game time lineups before wagering.

3-pointers: None

2-pointers: Jae Crowder (Suns) Over 2.5 made threes +125 (returns $22.50). Crowder went 0-3 from deep in the last game but in the previous 10 games he's gone 3+ from three seven times, including in Game 1 of the series.

Devin Booker (Suns) to score more points than Paul George (Clippers) +120 (returns $22.00) In the first two games, both top guns have scored exactly 60 points. George is a -152 to score more than Booker, I guess because the Clippers are home. The odds across the board for this game are so bad, I'm trying this.

Chris Paul (Suns) Under 8.5 assists +110 (returns $21.00) It's crazy to bet against Paul with how well he's been playing, but he's not super-human. He didn't get 9 assists in either of the last two games against Denver and he hasn't played since. In his last 10 games, Paul has been Under 8.5 assists six times. If he steps right in like nothing happened, more power to him. But the way Cam Payne has played, I wouldn't be pushing Paul to play 35+ minutes tonight.

Free throws: None

Steals: Reggie Jackson (Clippers) to score more points than Chris Paul (Suns) -134 (returns $17.50) I never take odds this low, but if Paul outscores Jackson tonight, the Clippers have no chance. Okay, they have a teeny chance, because someone else might go off. But it's teeny.

Wednesday Results

Winners:

Hawks +7.5 Over BUCKS +102 (returns $20.20) Didn't even need the points: Hawks win 116-113.

Losers:

Khris Middleton (Bucks) double-double +200 (returns $30.00) Middleton went 15-5-4 and got crushed by John Collins (23 points, 15 boards). If Middleton doesn't out-produce Collins, this series is over.

2-pointers: Brook Lopez (Bucks) Over 13.5 points and Bucks win +140 (returns $22.00) Lopez scored 7 points in 20 minutes. Coach B, decided to go smaller with Pat Connaughton playing 28 minutes (4 points, key late air ball). I think that negates the Bucks' one advantage – size – but maybe there's no one for Lopez to guard.
