Well, 1-3 last night. My parlay was a bust and the Bucks and Clippers must really want to torture their fans. Whiffed on the Jeff Green play.
Four games, six plays.
All wagers and returns based on $10. Please check game time lineups before wagering.
Wizards at SIXERS 1:10 pm EDT, Lakers at SUNS 3:40 pm, Hawks at KNICKS 7:10 pm, Grizzlies at JAZZ 9:30 pm.
3-pointers: None
2-pointers: Anthony Davis (Lakers) Game High Scorer +190 (returns $29.00) The last time these teams played, Davis put up 42. He won't score 42 today but he won't need to in order to be the game's high scorer.
SIXERS Over Wizards and Under 227 +148 (returns $24.80) Sixers should want to make a defensive statement this game. Plus, it's a matinee.
Julius Randle (Knicks) double-double +122 (returns $22.20) Randle carried the Knicks all season. With a week off, he should be fresh today.
Free throws: Daniel Gafford (Wizards) Over 13.5 points, rebounds, assists -106 (returns $19.50) Gafford is coming off a huge game against the Pacers and has scored double-figures in four of his last 5. This game will be a much tougher slog than the last one, but since he also rebounds, 13.5 seems doable at a decent price.
JAZZ Over 113.5 points vs. Grizzlies -108 (returns $19.30) Wanted to have one play on the nightcap and this seemed like a safe one with a decent return.
KNICKS Over Hawks -109 (returns $19.20) It's a pick 'em and I'm picking the Knicks at home with Coach Thibodeau having a week to prepare and the Knicks having a host of big guards to throw at Trae Young. The concern is the Knicks had the Hawks' number all season. Can that continue?
Steals: None
Winners:
Free throws: Jimmy Butler (Heat) Under 39.5 points, rebounds, assists -103 (returns $19.90) Butler went 17-10-8 = 35, but when that game went to OT I got nervous. He would have made the number easily except he shot 4-22 from the field.
Losers:
3-pointers: PARLAY: CLIPPERS -6 Over Mavericks AND NETS -8 Over Celtics +260 (returns $36.00) The Nets covered but the Clippers LOST by 10. The Clippers and Bucks are going to give ma agita throughout, I fear.
2-pointers:Jeff Green (Nets) Over 9.5 points +105 (returns $20.50) With Durant, Irving and Harden scoring 80% of the Nets' points, Green only ended up with one three.
Free throws: BUCKS -5.5 Over Heat -110 (returns $19.10) Bucks did everything possible to lose that game and would have if not for a tough Khris Middleton pull-up jumper in OT. But they didn't cover.
Push:
2-pointers: Damian Lillard (Trail Blazers) Game high scorer +135 (returns $23.50) Lillard tied Jokic with 34 points.
