Wednesday NBA Prop Bets: Fats picks DeMar DeRozan, Payton Pritchard, Celtics vs Cavaliers, Spurs vs Nets

Spurs at NETS 8:05 pm, Celtics at CAVALIERS 8:05 pm.

Fats Baller

0-3 Tuesday. Shame, because the picks felt good when they left my hand.

Wednesday picks

Two games, four plays.

I normally don't go into bad plays, but since I've been mediocre at best recently, to give you an idea of how my brain works, Celtic Tristan Thompson at +160 for a double-double, strikes me as a ridiculous bet. Yes, he's against his old team, and he's certainly capable of doing it, but Thompson has gone for double figures in points just once in his last 10 games and has only five double-doubles all season. And he's not had more than 5 assists in a game so he has to get it points & rebounds. Jayson Tatum is the same +160, has had three DDs in his past 10 games and has gone 10+ in points in 9 of his last 10 and has 10+ assists three times this season. I'm not taking Tatum either, but the +160 for Thompson seems way out of whack.

Spurs at NETS 8:05 pm, Celtics at CAVALIERS 8:05 pm.

3-pointers: DeMar DeRozan (Spurs) double-double +365 (returns $46.50) DeRozan did it the last time these teams played and +365 seems worth a risk he might do it again.

NETS -5.5 Over Spurs and Under 233 +255 (Returns $35.50) The Spurs shot the lights out against the Bucks so they're due to return to earth. The Nets could be playing with any combination of guys so I think there will be some adjusting.

2-pointers: Celtics Over CAVALIERS and Under 219 +175 (Returns $27.50) I vowed to not play the Celtics again this season, but there really are no games to like tonight. This could be a game neither team wants to win, and who knows how the Celts will play on the second night of a back-to-back, but the Cavs haven't won since April 21 and have scored 107 or less in 9 of the 11 losses.

Free throws: None

Steals: Payton Pritchard (Celtics) Over 20.5 points, rebounds, assists 113 (returns $18.90) With no Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker or Marcus Smart, the Celts may have to suit up assistant coach Jerome Allen. Pritchard is going to play and when he plays he produces.
