2-2 last night. Kyrie, Kyrie, Kyrie.
Three games, five plays. Panning for gold today with Nugget Will Barton and really like the Pelicans against the Cavs. Would open the vault for them if they weren't the Pelicans.
All wagers and returns based on $10. Please check game time lineups before wagering.
Celtics at NUGGETS 3:05 pm EDT, Pelicans at CAVALIERS 7:05 pm, Pistons at CLIPPERS 10:05 pm.
3-pointers: Steven Adams (Pelicans) double-double +330 (Returns $43.00) Adams is hardly a double-double machine, but he's had seven this year and tonight sets up perfectly, playing against a Cavs team without Jarrett Allen or Larry Nance Jr. Zion Williamson should also go off in this game but the oddsmakers are reflecting that.
Pelicans -6.5 Over CAVALIERS And Over 227.5 +260 (returns $36.00) The Pelicans are coming off what should be a confidence-building win over the Sixers and are going up against an under-manned Cleveland team that just got pummeled by Toronto. My only concern here is that it's the Pelicans. They hate prosperity. Every time they look like they've got their sh-t together, they step in it. But this should be a mismatch, especially down low.
CLIPPERS -12 Over Pistons And Over 216.5 +260 (returns $36.00) Over the last five games, the Pistons have alternated wins and losses and are coming off a loss to Portland so they should be due for a win. However, that loss was last night, they're on the fifth game of a road trip and the rested Clippers have been home for all of April. My concern is that this becomes a 115-90 game, but I'm hoping it's more like 125-105.
2-pointers: Will Barton (Nuggets) Over 3.5 assists +112 (Returns $21.20) Barton has gone over 3.5 points in six straight games. I like consistency.
Free Throws: None
Steals: Will Barton (Nuggets) Over 13.5 points -118 (Returns $18.50) Barton has gone over 13.5 points in five straight games, with no weird shooting outlier games. I like consistency.
Winners:
Steals: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Lakers) Over 14.5 points, rebounds, assists -117 (Returns $18.60) Pope went 14-3-5 = 22, picking up some slack since Kuzma also went down for the Lakers.
Kelly Olynyk (Rockets) Over 23.5 points, rebounds, assists -120 (Returns $18.50) Olynyk came through for third straight time with a line of 18-11-3 = 32. The Rockets, however lost again, 125-109.
Losers:
3-pointers: TRAIL BLAZERS -11.5 Over Pistons And Over 227 +260 (returns $36.00) Blazers covered the spread but the game came up 7 points short. Blazers won 118-103 = 221..
2-pointers: Kyrie Irving (Nets) Over 26.5 points AND Nets win +105 (returns $20.50) Kyrie had 18 points in 20 minutes and then got into it with Dennis Schroder and got ejected from the game.
