Yesterday, I began my post with "All I can say is when I start winning, it's going to be glorious."
Last night was glorious. 4-0. Go figure.
I didn't give any reasons for my picks yesterday and they all won. Tonight, I'll give my reasons . . . possibly for the last time. Kyle Lowry had a double-double last game with points-assists, and in the two previous games he had 9 rebounds. At +325 I'll hope the game stays close and he plays 34 minutes.
The undermanned Rockets upset the Spurs on Thursday, still giddy by the absence of James Harden. Tonight, they're still undermanned and some of the giddiness may have worn off. I like the Spurs in a slogfest.
I wanted to get some James Harden assist action (assuming he plays) but neither of the books I checked had any Nets props. The Magic haven't been very magical lately and if Harden plays I expect a run-and-gun affair with the Nets having a little too much firepower.
The Trail Blazers are again without Jusuf Nurkic and will have to depend more on double-double machine Enes Kanter. Kanter's presence, however, is good news for the quicker, more mobile Clint Capela.
