Last night I tried to win some parlays with nice payouts and ended up only winning my prop bet. The last week has been tough but I feel like these losses are providing information which will start to pay off soon.
Today, I'm returning to props, where I've had slightly better success. Would love to get in on the Mavericks vs. Rockets as that's the late NBA Network game, but with Luka Doncic and James Harden iffy, who knows what that game will look like. Also have good feelings about Brandon Ingram and Eric Bledsoe tonight for the Pelicans, but neither team may hit 100 in New Orleans so there may not be enough PRA to go around.
So I return to the Knicks, tonight vs. Hawks. And while I don't expect Warrior Stephen Curry to put up another 62, I do think he'll have a good night passing the ball.
Payoffs based on $10 wagers.
3-pointer: Elfrid Payton (Knicks) Over 24.5 points, rebounds, assists +106 (returns $20.60)
2-pointer: De'Andre Hunter (Hawks) Over 20.5 points, rebounds, assists +100 (returns $20.00)
Free throw: Mitchell Robinson (Knicks) Over 18.5 points, rebounds, assists -122 (returns $18.20)
Steal: Stephen Curry (Warriors) Over 6.5 assists +110 (returns $21.00)
Winners:
Steal: Thomas Bryant (Wizards) Over 22.5 points, rebounds, assists -117 (returns $18.60) Bryant was terrific, going for 21 points and 14 boards in a Wizards win.
Losers:
3-pointer: Celtics -8.5 and Under 213.5 +265 (returns $36.50) Completely missed the boat on this: The Celtics won but didn't cover and the game went Over.
2-pointer: Blazers -5.5 and Over 235 +260 (returns $36.00) Not much you can say when Steph Curry goes off for a career-high 62 and the Blazers put up 122 and lose.
Free throw: Nets win and Over 241.5 +143 (returns $24.30) Had the Over and had two open shots from Kyrie and KD in the final seconds to win. Clang. Clang.
$40 wagered (1-3), $18.60 returned.
Day 11: -$21.40
Total: -$112.25 (21-32 off 53 $10 wagers)
