We think the St. Louis Cardinals are going to carve up the Washington Nationals. Neither team is extraordinarily impressive this year, but not that bad either, the Cardinals do edge out the Nats in just about every metric possible. The biggest contributor will most likely be Nolan Gorman, the 2B for the Cardinals. His bat has been on a bit of a hot streak, and we think he’s going to notch his 18th HR for the season tonight. Betting on the total runs can be tricky, but the Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds game presents an opportunity. Both teams have had their offensive struggles, and the bet on the under 9.5 runs seems promising. Colorado hasn’t scored more than 3 runs in each of their last 5 games, and Cincinnati has been averaging around 2-3 runs per game over the last 5. Ryan Feltner and Andrew Abbott, the SPs for this matchup, aren’t too bad, but they’re not too great either. The former boasts an ERA of 5.60 while the latter has a 3.28, so even the average doesn’t max out over the over. So with that, we’re taking the under on this leg.
Let’s face it. The Minnesota Twins are hot and the Chicago White Sox are abysmal. Throughout the season, the Twins have consistently dominated their opponents by 1.5+ for most of their wins. With the White Sox kicking rocks this season with a .283 win percentage, we see no reason the Twins can’t crush this team. This is probably a safe leg to add to your parlay boost.
