Friday MLB Strikeout Props: Batman Krothers picks Michael Wacha, Walker Buehler, and Blake Snell

White Sox @ Rays, 7:10 pm ET, Mets @ Dodgers, 10:10 pm ET, and Phillies @ Padres, 10:10 pm ET

Batman Krothers

Didn't have a good night last night, but like a top-flight closer I ignore the last outing and move on, confident the next outing will be better.

Off we go to the K picks…

White Sox @ Rays, 7:10 pm ET

I usually like to pick Chicago's Lucas Giolito when he's out there, but we're going to look at the other side of the mound and go with Rays starter Michael Wacha because of the crazy low over/under of 4.5 strikeouts. My prediction engine has him projected to get between 7-8 Ks, so I'm very happy to take the over 4.5 and -120 from DraftKings.

Mets @ Dodgers, 10:10 pm ET

For this outing we're going to look at Dodgers starter Walker Buehler, whom the bookies have decided to set the K line at 7.5. My projections have him much lower against the Mets - topping out at 6. I will note that last time out, facing these same Mets, he struck out 10. That was in Queens and not in L.A. I think we're going with the under 7.5 - so I'll put my money there at -142 from FanDuel.

Phillies @ Padres, 10:10 pm ET

For our final pick of the day I'm going with the Padres SP Blake Snell. Snell is notoriously hard to pick - but I'm not one to back away from a challenge. How hard? His last 5 times out here are his K counts: 8, 1, 6, 13, 6. Given the Phillies recent umm, challenges, I'm thinking Snell is going to have an up outing - probably around 8 strikeouts. With that in mind, I'll take the over 6.5 K and +100 from our friends at FanDuel.

See you again tomorrow – same Bat-time, same Bat-place!
