Tuesday MLB Strikeout Props: Krothers calls on Michael Pineda, German Marquez, and Alex Wood

Twins @ Orioles, 7:05 pm ET, Rangers @ Rockies, 8:40 pm ET, Angels @ Giants, 9:45 pm ET.

Batman Krothers

Still hung over from the long weekend but saw a few games I liked and wanted to get these out there for you, my adoring fans.

Still nothing from MLB on the many issues about the sport being discussed here and in all corners of the fanbase – maybe we can get #FixMLB trending?

On to the K watch…

Twins @ Orioles, 7:05 pm ET

Michael Pineda starts tonight for the Twins and we have good data on him to make a pick since he faced the O’s just last week. Pineda went 6 and struck out 8. So why is the line set at 5.5? And why +125? Sometimes there’s a glitch in the Matrix, folks. Take the over 5.5 and +125 from Barstool Sportsbook and don’t look back.

Rangers @ Rockies, 8:40 pm ET

The Rockies’ German Marquez takes the bump tonight and while his ERA and WHIP haven’t been great, his K rate has. In 58 IP he’s struck out 62 and he pitches much better at home. Combine that with a high K team like the Rangers and you predict a good night. DraftKings has the line set at 6.5 and I’ll take the over at +125

Angels @ Giants, 9:45 pm ET

Alex Wood is starting for the Giants and he’s been great in 75% of his starts. When he’s good he’ll give you 6/7 innings and 7-9K’s. When he’s bad we’re talking 5 innings and 2-4 strikeouts. Which Wood will we see tonight? My money is on the Angels – who don’t strike out too much. I’m not picking a winner, but I’m going to go with the under 5.5 line from BetRivers and +112.

Come back again — same bat-channel — Batman out!
