Joining a trend that is unlikely to abate any time soon, the Miami Marlins have announced a partnership with the fast-growing fantasy sports platform Monkey Knife Fight.

Monkey Knife Fight is now the Marlins; official fantasy sports site and will be part of the Marlins' in-stadium branding, online assets, radio, and television.

Monkey Knife Fight, which had previously partnered with the Miami Dolphins, has also teamed with the Marlins to donate $50,000 to the Miami Marlins Foundation's Home Plate Meals Relief Fund, which helps feed the people of South Florida affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally if any home runs in Marlins Park are hit into the newly branded Monkey Knife Fight sections in right field, MKF will donate an additional $10,000 to the Miami Marlins Foundation.

"We're excited to partner with the Marlins and introduce our unique style of fantasy sports to their fans," MKF founder and CEO Bill Asher said in a statement. "What's most important though, is helping those in need. So many in South Florida have been hit hard by this virus. We will do our part by giving back to their foundation and supporting the neighboring community, which has been one of the hardest hit areas during the pandemic."
