Friday '5 Baseball Bets' had its first losing day going 6 for 13 and dropping $7.06. That leaves us at 19 for 35, up $36.54.
With the Phillies and Mets off, we're looking at the Yankees @ TWINS and it's tough to figure. The Yankees have been playing great , but are coming off a loss and a flight. The Twins have been teetering a bit and have allowed the Indians back in the race. The Yankees are starting lefty CC Sabathia, who's coming off a number of solid outings but realistically could blow up at any time. The Twins are starting lefty Martin Perez, whose 8-3 record belies the fact that he's only won once since Memorial Day – and the Yanks can hit from the right side. (Bets are once again $10 per, odds are courtesy of SugarHouse PA.)
Yankees @ TWINS 8:10 pm EDT
Sabathia Over 4.5 strikeouts -118
Schoop to homer +489
Torres to homer +475
Voit to homer +450
Kepler Over .5 hits -225
