MLB Monday - Albert Picks Indians v Royals, Phillies v Mets, Blue Jays v Yankees, Rockies v Giants, Plutko, Eflin, Keller, Gray

Andrew Albert

Favorite Pick of the Day:
Indians (-182) over Royals

Dumpster Fire Pick of the Day:
Phillies (-125) over Mets

Are You Sure? Pick of the Day:
Blue Jays (+230) over Yankees

Pick ’em of the Day:
Rockies (-110) over Giants

The Skinny:
There’s not a ton of games on the docket and I like the dogs in most of ‘em. The one favorite I have faith in is the Indians. They are 6-1 in Adam Plutko’s last seven starts while the Royals are 1-10 in Brad Keller’s last 11 starts. . . . What a time for these two clubs! One hasn’t seen a win in a week and the other has resorted to verbally attacking reporters. Who will fire their manager first? Stay tuned to find out! The only reason I’m taking Philly is here because the Phillies are 5-0 in Zach Eflin’s last five home starts vs. a team with a losing record. . . . Seems like a let down game for the Yanks. After a big series with Houston, focus may be off for the day. Also, the Blue Jays are 4-1 in their last five vs. American League East and 4-1 in their last five vs. a team with a winning record, including just taking two games in Boston. . . . The Rockies love them the opening game of the series. They are 8-2 in their last 10 during Game 1 of a series and I don’t see that changing by the bay. Plus, the Rockies are 7-0 in Jon Gray’s last seven.
