#7 Final Prospect (2/1) has SmartCap/Equibase overall best speed, last race and near best overall class. Going for three wins in a row, this son of Jump Start is having a strong 2020 campaign hitting the board in each try for a 6:3-2-1 record for $48K. Scratched from a higher rated Delaware race four days ago due to a sloppy track, today he returns Ruben Silvera in the irons where he won on him two back.
#4 Luvinmeiseasy (3/1) this gelding is a win or nothing proposition. He is 5:3-0-0 this year, 17:8-1-0 at Parx and 47:12-7-5 lifetime. Peeling off four wins-in-a-row, he was bequeathed to Robert Mosco from juicer Marcos Zulueta – and he hasn’t been the same. Pass.
#1 Terry’s Charm (5/1) has best overall class and third bast last. Given the speed in this race, Angel Castillo will lay beck on him and strike from the stretch. He tried to take him to the front in his last and ran out of gas. Stretching out today makes sense and you should get a square price.
#5 Diamond Setter (5/2) another closer stretching out today, Mychael Sanchez is back for a 2nd go as he was dq’d for brushing a contender in the stretch. He has solid speed numbers and a good last race, so look for this extra furlong to help.
# 6 Petulant Delight (8/1) this is a rarity – a horse that was claimed, benched, brought back and won. Jockey Roberto Rosado is back aboard where he won on him a year ago. In that race, unlike his g2w win last out, Rosado sat off the pace and closed in the stretch. It’s tough to say how re-claimer Mario Dominguez wants him to run today, however, I am counting him in the exotic(s).
My picks: I’m betting a trifecta of 5-6/5-6-1/7, 5-6/7/5-6-1, 7/5-6/5-6-1. Exacta box 1-6-7 and I’m taking a price shot on the 6
