Look for tight tracks today with rains overnight and cooler weather.Speed may hold which should help some horses that have gotten lost on recent deep ovals.
Downright cool.

PARX Race 1 (12:55 ET)
1-Bess moves to a new barn and gets a new pilot after being claimed at Keeneland. 6-Dance and Dance moves to a new barn and gets a new pilot after being claimed at Gulfstream. Both are moving from high percentage operations to high percentage operations. No one else is even close in this race. Hard to get a feel for track bias in the first race of the day but if 1-Bess gets to control the pace and the rail is golden, she is the pick. She will pay better, too.Harry would be proud.

PARX Race 2 (1:22)
Another track bias consideration here. 1-Via Castagna has gas and showed it at 7f last out.If the the rail is golden and he breaks well, he may hold on here. But, the same can be said for 2-Gran Fortress and the cut back from 2 turns should help him see the race out. The other Michael Moore runner, 6-Sea Swap, is first off the claim so may need a race to get up to speed for a trainer much better second off the claim.

DELAWARE Race 3 (2:09)
Bottom level turf race with older boys. Surprisingly, this one has mostly dirt horses making the few with proven turf form stand out. If trainer Gary Capuano has 9-Intrepid Citizen ready off the shelf, he should dominate this group. If the seven-month break was to freshen for turf season, then he is good here. 8-Potomac River looks good for 10 years old but is a step behind the top one at this point. 7-Monkey’s Medal is bred for turf but has not done much running on it. Connections might prefer a thunderstorm before post time.

MICK’S QUICKIES
Parx Race 3 (1:49): 3-He’s Got Talent won for these connections last out. Should pay well if he can do it again on the raise.
Delaware Race 4 (2:36): 5-San Marco gets a huge class break here and just missed at this level two back.
Delaware Race 5 (3:03): 5-Asset Allocation is first off a long layoff for connections winning at 40% as a partnership. If ready, this is his best surface.
