It's that special time of the year again! For the next 4 days, the entire sports world will be fixated on blooming azaleas, pimento cheese sandwiches, and Jim Nance's voice repeatedly saying "it's a tradition unlike any other".

The 2024 Masters is finally here and we're ready to roll. Check out our betting preview below, which includes 3 full tournament head-to-head matchups and 2 placement props for this iconic event! Good luck!

Matt Fitzpatrick OVER Patrick Cantlay (-130)

Fitzpatrick’s recent form has been great over his last 2 tournaments. He finished 5th at the Players and then 10th at the Valero last week. He is 41st on Tour in total strokes gained compared to Cantlay, who is just 91st in the same category.

Cantlay’s recent form has not been good, as he finished 36th in the Palmer Invitational and then followed that up with a 68th finish at the Players. As for course history, Fitzy has made the cut in all his previous Masters starts and has finished 14th in 2022 and 10th last year.

Cantlay, on the other hand, has missed the cut twice in his previous 6 years while playing well last year and securing 14th place. We love the consistency in which Fitz is playing and are happy to lay the juice here.

Russell Henley OVER Tyrell Hatton (-120)

Hatton is now on the LIV Tour but prior had solid finishes in the Sentry and Sony with 14th and 13th place finishes respectively. However, now being on LIV, he has played in less events and the rust could certainly be an issue.

For Henley, he is coming off a strong 4th place finish at the Valero and is 21st on Tour in strokes gained. Here at Augusta, Hatton’s best finish was in 2021 when he finished 18th.

In the other 4 of the past 5 years, he has missed the cut and finished no better than 34th. For Henley, he finished 30th in 2022 and then was in the hunt last year finishing 4th.  We like Henley to outduel the LIV’s Hatton here.

Corey Conners OVER Max Homa (-110)

We are playing this matchup once again after they tied last week. The main reason we like this matchup so much is because of the struggles that Homa has had here at Augusta.

In his last 2 starts, he has finished 43rd and 48th and previous to those, he missed the cut in back-to-back years. For Conners, if you can take out his missed cut last year, his course history is very impressive.

He finished 6th, 8th, and 10th in the 3 years previous. He should get back into form again this year and blow past Homa over the weekend.

Top 30 Finish: Chris Kirk (+160 at FanDuel)

Chris Kirk fits most of the formula for previous Masters winners. He finished inside the Top 40 last year, and he is inside the Top 30 in the world rankings,

Kirk also has a top 5 finish this year and falls between 25-40 years of age. We don’t expect him to win but after a 23rd place performance in his Masters debut last year, we expect him to go low this weekend.

Top 30 Finish: Patrick Reed (-105 at DraftKings)

Reed has finished well inside the Top 30 in 4 of the last 5 starts at the Masters. He was 4th last year and the 2 years he finished outside the Top 30 he was close (35th and 36th).

We believe Reed will be able to keep his head above the Top 30 here once again. This price is a bargain!
