Harrah’s Philadelphia will officially open its new, 27-table poker room with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Friday.

The space, which bears the brand of the World Series of Poker (owned by Harrah’s corporate parent, Caesars Entertainment), is located in what the gambling den that sits on the Chester, Pa. waterfront refers to as the “entertainment center,” the casino-level area that includes a virtual-reality Top Golf outlet and The Book, the recently opened sports-betting outpost. It replaces the original card room that was situated away from the casino floor.

Friday’s festivities will also feature giveaways and free food from 2 p.m. to midnight.
