The Sunday Phillies Props: Phillies

Home Runs Return

Bob Vetrone

Sunday’s Twins starter Jose Berrios allowed 19 home runs in 15 road games last season, tied for the second-most in baseball.

This will be the right-hander’s first appearance at Citizens Bank Park, against a stacked Phillies team none-to-happy with its two-run production Saturday afternoon.

Rhys Hoskins’ solo home run Saturday is the Phillies’ only four-bagger in their last 130 plate appearances as a team. Now, that just won’t do. Time to turn that around, as they will some Berrios hanging curveballs Sunday afternoon.

Also, there is no way the Phils are held to a deuce again, so the Over on their run total is a play.

Pick: Rhys Hoskins to Homer ($3/+285)
Pick: Bryce Harper to Homer ($3/+300)
Pick: Andrew McCutchen ($2/+400)
Pick: Maikel Francoto Homer ($2/+400)

Pick: Phillies Over 4.5 Runs ($5/+112)
