We noticed that the points totals for Tobias Harris over his last five games were -- in order -- 20, 21, 13, 22 and 16.
So, we were happy to see his Over/Under Point Total for the Sixers’ Tuesday game against the Cavaliers at 22.5 on one of our mobile apps. With Joel Embiid back, it seemed like a sure bet, so we grabbed it quickly, even before our usual comparison shopping.
Then we found his O/U Point Total on another app at 20.5 and it just screamed “Middle” at us . . . probably because the 20, 21 and 22 in his last five were fresh in our minds.
So, Middle It we did. Yes, unless he nails 21 or 22 we are going to lose money on the Vig ($1), but we have the chance to win $8. And in what should be a blowout, it is something different to track.
